Threats and violence forced them to leave their country. Just below a million Iraqis fled since 2003 to neighbouring Jordan, in search for a safe haven. They won’t be offered asylum. Lost for prospects, they live on meager means and inconspicuously, waiting for their chance to reach the West. With severe restrictions now enforced at land borders, Weast takes a close and exclusive look at how Iraqi refugees struggle for their future. Shot in 16 : 9. |
