Islamabad, early 2007. Young, baton-wielding, niqab-clad students of the Jamia Hafsa take to the streets: they consider themselves the guardians of public morality. The yet unexplored phenomenon of female Islamic militancy suddenly acquires heightened visibility. A crew from Weast Productions travelled to Pakistan to visit madrassas and meet with teachers and students, uncovering along the way how Islamic activism is progressively being embraced by women belonging to the middle classes. Exclusive report aired by the main current affairs magazines of the Swiss National Broadcasting Company in French Language (TSR), German Language (SF) and Italian Language (TSI). Filmed in 16 : 9. This trailer is a short version of the original feature report.
