Back from the brink after armed clashes in Beirut in May 2008 sparked
fears of renewed civil war, Lebanese political forces are currently
engaged in lenghty reconciliation talks. The Christian community, devided
as ever, is struggling to come together despite differing agendas. Weast interviews Jocelyne Khoweiri, a former
Christian militia leader who fought in the civil war and then swapped her
Kalashnikov in 1985 for a life dedicated to others. Jocelyne strongly believes
Lebanon still represents a model of ethnic and religious coexistence.
Watch her story. Broadcast on Swiss National TV in French language TSR, 16:9.
