On 4th April, 2009 a film by Weast productions’ editor and managing director was premiered in Ascona, Switzerland. In his documentary, filmed during and after the siege of Gaza in December-January 2008, Gianluca Grossi walks through the conflict's debris, picking up along the way what is left of shattered lives, bodies, hopes, and pain. A collection of stories from a wounded land, where ‘time has become a persecution’ and where victims’ voices barely raise above the constant noise of war. The feature was commissionned by the Foundation Monte Verità (monteverita.org), and took place within the frame of the Human Rights Forum. A panel discussion ensued, which also saw the participation of a representative from the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs. This is only a part of the documentary. Full feature available on demand.
